Started practicing Don’t Stop Believing – inspired by Sam & Rich

hehe :-) I was practicing it for the first time (ish) earlier today and started pushing like a dumbass again which ruined all my progress, as usual. Now I could just kinda chill and it turned out a lot better.

Soon I'll fix the error that doesn't allow video uploads in comments and hopefully even more people will start sharing their own takes of the songs in other people's posts to keep everyone engaged and improving. M2 is the wayy 🚀

everytime I try a lighter Marc Martel style approach I mess up, you're a master of that! I gotta try maybe listening to a before and after

here's a fantastic clip of Arnel supposedly pre Journey doing open arms...he's sitting down and so relaxed which I think is a great indication of his M2 mastery...there's no way any of this is chest voice (to my ears and eyes)  but he has a GREAT resonant tone that sounds killer and before the veil was lifted from my eyes I'd have guessed this was something quite different in terms of approach.

sweet I'd not seen this yet.  Let me watch it a few times and I'll try and give you some feedback.  I like the soft tone you are working with...it sounds really good and nice and free!  You are definitely making me want to go back and work on this now!!

Let's goo baby! I've been waiting for you to sing this for weeks! Already sounding good Marc! I was already inspired by Samuel take on this a few days ago but now I'm even more encouraged to keep practicing this, (I've been struggling hard with this song particularly 😭) I was puzzled by this, because it's literally after my break and damn I can't completely make a full developed sound in M2 there; I've watched Marc Martel rehearsal with journey and Arnel Pineda on this song and it was weird, sounded like he was forced to do a mostly M1 voice? But I don't know, let me know your thoughts on that, it's cool because I hear that he brings the switching approach he usually uses but he does it mid note so it seemed to be kind of a struggle even for him! (You have to check out those videos very cool stuff) honestly to us low voice guys it's a 100% M2 from the verse to the end, since the song starts already too high am I wrong?. Very nice take Marc, keep us updated with your singing, we want to hear more of you singing brotherrr!❤️
