This Reddit thread about Michael McDonald made me want to die

The original poster (OP) comments that he likes McDonald's smoky, rich falsetto, and the top comment claims that he's using mixed voice. The OP then replies and apologizes and basically says "You're right, he's using mixed voice, sorry."

The OP was so close to an epiphany, but clueless reddit gatekeepers took away his chance to learn something incredibly useful! Now he's going to spend the rest of his life searching for a "mixed voice" that's really just a strong falsetto with a low larynx position.

🤣🤣🤣🤣 It’s funny how they can get so close and then so confused. “He’s not doing M2, he’s doing M2!!! 😡” 😂😂😂 wish people were objective about singing but hey at least we’re here now 😉
