hello, i recently discovered marc after almost buying ken tamplins course. i liked his science based approach. I started off with instant mixed voice course, and by end of day i could hit E5 although i sounded much better til D5, i was told im bass, i can go down to G2. it was very nice to hear that i could even go that high and have it not sound airy or like im about to die. Although i cant really reproduce any words that high nicely. is that normal and something that improves, as for now even tho i can go up to E5/D5 its no use with lyrics. Also i feel i have a huge gap in the middle of the range, of which many pop songs fall into, of which in struggling. im still young so im also very concerned in protecting my voice. Any tips for that or anything. im dual language (eng + jpn) and i feel im much better at jpn and english is harder to sing smoothly. even tho i grew up with both langauges and so ive been told i have native accent for both. wonder if others who grew up with multiple languages also relate. i want to get good for both languages. Ive noticed that my m1 seems much more limited, as in if i push it than A3, but than m2 just covers a huge range with it being much weaker closer to m1. maybe it is placebo but it feels my m1 is just much more limiting over my entire vocal range, and so the songs im interested in are going to mostly fall into m2. Im excited to go on my m2 journey. sry for the long post.

Welcome aboard my brother! You describe the two things I went through so there are non issues. The gap in the middle is normal and is contemplated in the m2 academy method as the last thing we fix, so not to worry. Also, in the beginning I could only do long sustains and no vowels or enunciating words as you describe so hey, for a first day - you're killing it! Congrats my bro, I'm really excited for your progress as well 🥹💚
